thankful is an understatement. this week has been filled with lots of different things. the weekend was rough, but made better by people who care. the week got progressively better and here i am today. i need to learn how to have a steady joy and not so roller coastery…. i know that’t not a word, but i feel like i’m so up and down and up and down depending on what the circumstances are. i’m a work in progress.
i am thankful for…
- sewing- i have had this strong desire to create. i bought a kitchenaid mixer and pulled out my sewing machine for this reason. i had a friend come over this week and she got me started… we got carried away catching up which was so sweet! i had my grandma over to help also! not only am i sewing, but i’m hanging out with some pretty awesome people.
- europe- david and i booked our tickets to europe this week! it’s looking like london, paris, venice, florence and rome!! already have my time off work approved, i couldn’t be more excited!
- pavers- i am so thankful for david and his dude friends. they FINISHED laying the paver stones for our outdoor living space!!
- husband husband husband. family family family. friends friends friends. i love the people in my life and i don’t think i’ll ever have a thankful post without mentioning how thankful i am for them. we got to celebrate a dear friends birthday this past friday… it’s always nice to celebrate the people in our lives!
- tripomatic– this website has been so helpful in our early stages of planning. it’s helping us build the excitement!
- airbnb– we are planning on doing our entire stay off of airbnb…. the prices are just to reasonable and having that connection with people who actually live in these places is just that much sweeter!!
- 1/2 marathons- david and i along with several of our friends are training for the OC Half Marathon. We train individually during the week and run together on saturdays which are our longer runs. we did this last year for the long beach half and had a blast!! this year is looking like it’ll be just as fun because we got the guys in on it too!!
- eagle rock– i didn’t think i would love living here as an adult for some reason, but i absolutely love my neighborhood. we are close to every part of la… we have everything we need within miles. i just love my little town! Apparently other people do too!! This article was so fun to read!
- i am thankful for my sweet Lord who guides me along each and every day… i would be so lost
- love, grace and mercy that is new everyday. i hope to give more love… more grace…and more mercy to everyone i come into contact with.
